ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF SOCIAL NEEDS AND COMPENSATION TOWARD EMPLOYEE JOB SATISFACTION AT PERUM PERHUTANI DIVISI REGIONAL CENTRAL JAVA
Perum Perhutani Divisi Regional Central Java is a State-Owned Enterprises in Indonesia, which has the duty and authority to enforce the planning, maintenance, exploitation, and protection of forest in working area.
The purpose of this study project is to analyze the influence of social needs and compensation toward employee job satisfaction at Perum Perhutani Divisi Regional Central Java. The method of collecting the data were interview, questionnaire, and literature study. Questionnaires were distributed to 65 employees as a respondents. The method of study used multiple linear regression coefficient analysis.
The calculation of multiple linear regression coefficient analysis shows that Y = 9,100 + 0,344X1 + 0,457X2. It means that social needs and compensation has the positive influence toward employee job satisfaction. In addition to that adjusted R2 is 0,646, it means that variable of social needs and compensation influenced 64,6% toward job satisfaction and 35,4% influenced by the other factors.
To increase the employee job satisfaction, the company always have to give special portion for working the job so that the employee feel avowed to be a part of the work environment and review back the health compensation and facility for every employees.
