THE INFLUENCE OF NOMOPHOBIA (NO MONILE PHONE PHOBIA) SYNDROME ON ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF STUDENTS AT SEMARANG STATE POLYTECHNIC
Polytechnic is expected to produce graduates who are able to perform tasks in the industry professionally. This means that graduates must be able to master the necessary knowledge and skills perfectly. In addition, the Polytechnic graduates are required to be able to work with precision, namely, timely and appropriate rules.
The objective of this research project is to know about the influence of syndrome nomophobia of student’s academic achevement and how far the influence of it. The methode of analysis in this research are validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression test, t test and coefficient of determination. And the methode of collecting data are observations, questionnaires and literature study. Research findings indicate that nomophobia syndrome has a positive and significantly impact of to student’s academic achevement. The regretion
equationis Y = 2,702 + 0,195X. There is the influence of 9,3% of nomophobia syndrome against student’s academic achevement of Semarang State Polytechnic, while 90,7% influenced by other factors that is not accounted in this study.
