Sistem Pembayaran Komoditi Ekspor Furniture Kayu Pada Sipra Furniture Jepara
International trade, like export-import activities need payment systems. The selection of the system of payment should be made selectively and advantegeous for exporter and importer. Mistakes in choosing the payment system will impact to financial loss for exporter and importer.
The purposes of this final project report were to know the payment system used in export transaction at SIPRA Furniture Jepara, to understand the procedures of money liquefaction from the payment system, included the parties that related to the payment system, and to know the obtacles and the risk that can appear and the method for handling the obstacles and the risk from the payment system.
This final project is descriptive. The techniques of collecting data are: observation, interview, and literature study. The types of data are qualitative and quantitative data, primary and seconday data, internal and external data.
The payment system that is used by SIPRA Furniture to export their furniture products are Letter of Credit and Telegraphic Transfer. The procedures of money liquefaction from Telegraphic Transfer is more usefull and simpler than Letter of Credit. When SIPRA Furniture liquefy their money they need some documents like original L/C, Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, and Certificate from Beneficiary.
