To face the globalization era, PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Semarang is required to attend to the development of export regulations. This means that export activities can be done according to procedure.
The purpose of this final report to find out, (1) the export mechanism of coffee commodity in PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Semarang, (2) the system of payment, and (3) the parties involved in export transactions.
The report of this final report was written descriptively. The collected data were primary and secondary which were obtained through interviews, literature studies and internet browsing/online.
The company handles export activities in accordance with the set provisions, and delivering the goods with the terms of the Free Carrier (FCA). Payment system, which is determined in implementing the export transaction is Telegraphic Transfer (TT) and Letter of Credit (L / C). The parties involved in the implementation of the export are importer, bank, expedition company, customs office, department of industry and trade (desperindag) and Shipping Company.
