Strategi Pengembangan Ekspor Mebel Melalui Sertifikasi Kayu Pada Asmindo Korwil Jateng
The purpose of this final report is identify the implementation of exported furniture done by ASMINDO (Assosiasi Industri Mebel dan Kerajinan Indonesia) Korwil Central Java as consultant and coach for furniture industries and processed wood certification in order to inform the importance of having VLO, COC or FSC certification, the ASMINDO Korwil Central Java strategy in giving direction and coaching furniture industries to get wood certification and the benefit for the ASMINDO members having wood certification.
The methods of data collection were observation, interview and literature study.
After the data were analyzed, it was found that the ASMINDO launched the ACC (Asmindo Certification Care) program as the strategy to accompany the members to get wood certification and to inform the procedures of the ACC consultation program of VLO system and COC-FSC in order to get wood certification and the benefit obtained by members of ASMINDO for the development of furniture as well as receiving information about the international market.
It is concluded that all of furniture industries and processed wood must have wood certification.
