In the high competition of business, the need of a proffesional secretary is very important to determine the company’success. A secretary should have good knowledge and skill in doing the job. A secretary takes a part in helping the manager duties, and giving a positive recommendation for the company’s improvement.
The business activity of PT Garuda Brass Juwana Pati Regency is making “ brass handycraft”. This company has many employees that always closely related with the secretary, so it is possible that the employees have a perception about secretary performance. Based on the background the writer is motivated to compose afinal project entitled “ The employee’s perception Toward the roles of manager’s secretary at PT Garuda Brass Juwana Kabupaten Pati”. The purpose of this final project are to know the perception of the employees about the role of manager’s secretary at PT Garuda Brass Juwana Kabupaten Pati in supporting the company duties. The method used in this final project was description analysis, the data were collected by interview, observation and questionarie. The result shows that based the description taken as a whole it is known that most respondents have a good perception. It is mean that employees perception toward the secretary ‘s role at PT Garuda Brass is good. Based on the aspect as follows: secretary profession, secretary’s made, duties area of secretaries, requirement to be secretary, and secretary’s personality and appearance. It is recommended that the secretary should improve and maintain its role in conducting the jobs.
