The purposes of this study were to identify how the strategies in conducting training and development, the methods of training and development, How evaluation and constraints training and development.
The research method was descriptive method. This research is used to find a picture of training and development in BULOG. The data were collected by interviews and literature study.
Training and development strategy in BULOG include providing motivation, training, and promotion gift. As for the methods used in conducting training and development programs in Bulog is to use the techniques of education and training that includes: training on the job and off the job . The evaluation is done by BULOG Center and Head of Regional Division by comparing their performance before and after following the training. Constraints in the training and development that occurred in Bulog is on the participants or human resources. Because they do not have the same background or heterogeneous, such as different basic education, work experience, and age.
