Hotel Pandanaran Semarang is a company of service of hospitality. By its slogan “Simply the Smart Choice”. They want to make the hotel as a remarkable Business hotel and convention in Central Java.
The purpose of this report is to describe the role of Public Relations of Hotel Pandanaran Semarang in creating good relationship with Press at course the activities or media used by Public Relation in creating good relationship with them. The method for data collecting were observation, interview and literacy study.
It is important for Hotel Pandanaran Semarang to conduct good relationship with the press. Press is supporting media to publish all activities, work programs and to enhace the communication activities between the hotel and its public. To establish the good relationship the Public Relation is obviously to do its roles. The roles are the mediator of the hotel and press, to establish coorporate image, and establishing relationship. The strategies used are press reception, media visit, making and distributing press release. The distributions maybe done through the printed media mass, radio or cyber media. All are done to inform the public as fast as possible and to make positive image in public.
