Sistem Pengawasan Produksi Pada PT HARTCO UTAMA Kendal
PT HARTCO UTAMA is a company that produces kinds of furniture product. At PT HARTCO UTAMA, controlling is activities to check the realization of production process, so the controlling production process can match with the company’s purpose.
This report were to find out production controlling and activities controlling at PT HARTCO UTAMA. Other purpose is to give some recommendations about production controlling system to be applied at PT HARTCO UTAMA. This final project report was written descriptively, methods of collecting data were observation, interviews, and literature studies.
Production controlling system that applied at PT HARTCO UTAMA is flow control, the activities of controlling are routing, loading and scheduling, follow-up. Production controlling at PT HARTCO UTAMA became not maximum, because the function of routing is not good enough. There was some work stations set in bad position, it’s caused the materials flow became obstructed. The solution of this problem is to reset the work stations layout, that are moving and change position of some work stations such are saw mill, treatment, kiln dry, hall kayu lembaran, and polishing. It was recommended to consider some suggestions about design of work stations layout to be applied for PT HARTCO UTAMA.
