The goal of making this final task was to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by Pandu Semarang taxi company, so the company could formulate a competitive strategy that would be used. The method used for collecting data were interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. Technical analysis used SWOT analysis.
Pandu Taxi Semarang uses a strategy to compete in the aggressive growth efforts. This strategy includes 4 kinds of strategies, namely the concentration strategy, market expansion strategy, expansion strategy of products/services, and diversification concentration strategy. With the four strategies, Pandu Taxi Semarang can face competition from other taxi companies.
From the results of the questionnaire that was distributed to the customers of Pandu Taxi Semarang, the researcher could conclude that Pandu Taxi Semarang took the position at the quadrant 1 meaning that it used aggressive strategies. From the results, we can see that Pandu Taxi Semarang has profitable business opportunities that it can take from opportunities in the competition.
